Lifting the Blinders

So many times in a day or week or month I've realized my nose is to the grindstone so to speak and I’m hyper focused on accomplishing some task or moving toward some goal. While those are important and constructive actions, getting lost in them and losing the nuance and richness in these moments of life is to live by half measures. 
Mindfulness meditation, sound journeying and inquiry can slowly, surely, open awareness and help us to a fuller, more embodied experience of life and the world around us. 
Lifting The Blinders is a workshop that asks us to lift our heads up and take a long good look around at where we are - at this present moment, time and place and in this moment of our lives. 


Participants learn
The concept of cultivating awareness and the power of mindful pause
Beginning a path toward mindful response and less reactivity
Bringing presence and awareness to the moments of life and tuning in, rather than tuning out 
Assessing where they are in their wellbeing, what domains of wellbeing are calling for attention and tools of inquiry to address them
